Security
Please be assured that credit/debit card transactions processed through our website are protected and secure. Our web-site is hosted on a secure server. Please be advised that no financial details are stored on our servers, neither from website transactions nor those from other methods of transaction communication.
You are advised not to e-mail your credit card details to us as this is not a secure method of transmitting information and your email will be rejected by our email server. If you are unable to complete your transaction on-line you can place your order via telephone or fax, but the prices may be higher, as prices quoted on our website are for orders placed online only (please see prices section below).
Website Registration
You warrant that the personal data which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
Payment
Payments are handled through our payment partner SagePay. All orders are paid for in GB Pound Sterling (£). We cannot accept payment using a non-UK based credit/debit card.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta, UK Maestro and American Express.
Prices
The prices quoted on our website are only valid for orders placed using our online shopping facility and are subject to change on a regular basis. All products are subject to our stock availability which is finite. We reserve the right to revise prices without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances. All prices on our web-site are inclusive of UK VAT unless otherwise stated. Carriage charges are added to your order at checkout. All prices shown are inclusive of packaging.
Stock
The Chandlery Outlet website shows product stock indicators. When you, the customer, place your order you do so in acceptance that goods may not be in stock at the time of ordering. We have included this term in the case of stock discrepancy. Any goods out of stock will be notified within 48 working hours of the order being placed (exceptions may occur over the weekend as orders are manually processed Mon-Fri).
International Orders
Currently, we can only accept orders for despatch to the United Kingdom. We cannot accept orders for despatch to Eire or the Channel Islands.
Confirmation and Acceptance
An acknowledgement of order will be sent via return e-mail. This is to indicate that your order has been received, this does not indicate that a contract exists between you, the customer, and Chandlery Outlet. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you confirmation of goods dispatched via email. While your credit card may be debited before the contract is formed, if we do not accept your order, a refund will be made immediately after the rejection of the order.
Delivery
Goods are despatched same day for orders placed before 1:00pm. Goods are despatched on a next working day carrier service (Monday – Friday). In the unlikely event that you experience a delay in delivery, please allow for 3 working days to elapse before contacting us.
Order Cancellations
If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please advise us immediately. Providing your order has not already been despatched, we will cancel the order.
Returns and Refunds
If you wish to return goods for any reason, then please contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange a replacement (if the original goods were damaged or faulty) or refund for the value of the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty.

We will pay for return postage providing the goods are returned to us within 30 days of delivery.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the agreement to refund and will be credited to the debit/credit card used for payment.
Purchase of Knives
In accordance with Civic Government (United Kingdom) Act 1982 – Licensing of Knife Dealers, it is an offence to sell to a person under the age of 18 a knife or knife blade. Customer checks may be made via Electoral Roll or by any other means if there is any reason to believe that a purchaser is under the age of 18.
